FROM THE COACHES CORNER
The first day of practice is less than 48 hours away. Dryland practice begins Monday, December 14, 2020. Everyone should arrive at 2:50 pm. We will meet at the entrance to the SHS cafeteria. Do not enter the building. All practices will be held outside. Don't forget to dress in layers and bring gloves, hats, and wear your mask! Please make arrangements to be picked up at the end of practice at 4:30 pm sharp. Due to the shortened season, all December practices are mandatory.
All students must complete the DAILY SHS Covid-19 Prescreening Questionaire before arriving for practice and deliver the completed form to Coach Moriarty or me, before every practice. If you do not have a completed form, you will not be able to practice. Forms will not be available at the practice.
The training schedule and all races can be viewed on our website CALENDAR. All races are posted on our EVENTS PAGE. The schedule was updated today, Sat. Dec 12th!
In just 5 days we are scheduled to be at Winter 4 Kids training on snow. Plan on skiing your slalom skis. Take this time to double-check all your ski gear and make sure your skis are properly tuned and waxed. In order to ski at Winter 4 Kids, everyone is required to fill out the Winter 4 Kids Lane Space Competition Waiver by Tue Dec. 15th. If the form is not submitted in advance you will not be permitted to ski at Winter 4 Kids starting Thurs. Dec 17th.

We have provided Winter 4 Kids your Sparta school email addresses. They will email you an electronic questionnaire each day we are scheduled to be at the mountain that you must complete prior to arrival in order to ski. NOTE: Gaiters are not CDC approved face masks. Masks must be worn.
