Mountain Practice Tomorrow

Unfortunately, canceling practices this week was out of my control. I know it's a bit ironic that a ski team would cancel practice due to snow. The one dry-land we were able to get in this week was awesome. Everyone worked hard and I was impressed.
We are all looking forward to getting on fresh snow tomorrow.
Tomorrow (Fri 12/18/20) we will be practicing at W4K National Winter Activity Center in Vernon, NJ.
Everyone must complete the following four items in order to ski tomorrow:
- EMERGENCY CARD
Complete the yellow Emergency Card you received and bring it with you. The card must be signed and dated by a parent. - SHS DAILY COVID FORM

Forms will be emailed from W4K the night before we are scheduled to be at the mountain. The form will be sent to your Sparta.org email accounts. The form should be completed and submitted online the day of (prior to going to the mountain). - ARRIVE AT SHS AT 5:10pm
The buses will depart the SHS at 5:30 pm on Friday. Before boarding the bus everyone will need to hand over their completed emergency card, daily SHS Covid health form, and get their temperature scanned. Bring your slalom skis, poles, boots, helmet, gloves, goggles (clear lenses recommended), layers, etc. A boot bag is the best way to transport your ski gear. Skis should have ski straps attached to protect your edges and bases.
We will arrive at W4K at 6:15pm. We will have 30 min to gear up and have something to eat, meals are being provided! At 6:45pm the Sparta Ski Team will go outside and practice until 8:45pm. We will be free skiing in an assigned lane in small groups and doing drills. The bus will leave the mountain at 9pm and we should be back at the SHS just after 9:30pm. Make sure someone will be there waiting to pick you up.
Now it's time to get out and enjoy the snow.
