W4K SPECTATOR NOTICE:
Parking is extremely limited for Sunday. Spectators should carpool as much as possible, we do not have an option for overflow parking.
Spectators on site are not allowed on snow, they will have access to a spectator area from the upper parking lot and by walking up the driveway only. Parents on snow will be asked to leave for safety reasons. 
Please ask everyone to be respectful of our staff, they are trying to keep everyone safe and we have full programs on top of the races Sunday.  

TRANSPORTATION NOTE:
All racers are expected to ride the bus with the ski team to and from the event. Although taking your child home from a race is discouraged, should you need to take your child home, you may do so once all of our racers have finished racing and our post-race team meeting is over; provided a parent-signed and dated note requesting permission to drive home your child is handed to Coach Calafati before we depart the Sparta high school for the event; NO exceptions. Please note your child is required to stay and support their teammates until the end of the event. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

CALENDAR / SCHEDULE UPDATE:

Effective 1/29/23, every day until the end of February a mandatory practice/race is scheduled. The online calendar has been updated accordingly. Racers need to have all their ski gear at school every day and be ready to train or race. On weekends all ski gear should go home with you. Should something change in the schedule, racers will be notified.

This past week was a major challenge to hold practices. I jumped through hoops when the opportunity arose to provide additional needed trainings, and I know many of you scrambled to make it work; including several that made special arrangements. Thank you to our team Captains for your commitment and extra assistance with these practices. I am well aware of those who made every effort to attend practice this week. For many, it was simply not possible but you kept me informed about your situation along the way, and I know how much you wanted to be there. I applaud you!
