Six Spartans Named NJ "ALL-LEAGUE"

2023 NJISRA Sparta All-League Ski Racers

NJ "ALL LEAGUE" RACERS:

Kanna Pasunuri, Madison Campisi, Aubrey Zimmermann, Drew Young, James Kressman & George Flint.

Each year, the top one-third of NJISRA high school alpine ski racers are honored with the distinguished title of "ALL-LEAGUE". We are proud to announce the six Sparta ski racers that were named 2023 "All-League" (Top 33%): Kanna Pasunuri, Madison Campisi, Aubrey Zimmermann, Drew Young, James Kressman & George Flint. 

This year, NJ varsity ski racers competed to earn individual points, racing in six scheduled conference events.  A total of 39 girls and 45 boys qualified to compete at the 2023 Race Of Champions, which also includes Honorable Mention. 

This is the third year in a row that Team Captain Kanna Pasunuri and Madison Campisi have been named "All-League" and the second year in a row that Drew Young has been named "All-League".

These six athletes have all qualified to compete at the Race of Champions (ROCs). The ROC is the final race of the season to determine the top 12 boys and top 12 girls to be named "All-State" and join the NJ Ski Team.

The NJ Ski Team will compete in the Eastern Regionals at Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire from March 3rd to the 5th.

Congratulations to this exceptional group of athletes. This is a well-deserved accomplishment. We wish you all speed and strength at the Race Of Champions on Wednesday, February 22nd at 12 pm at Winter 4 Kids in Vernon, NJ.
