For those of you who were unable to make it to the meeting, there is still time to join the ski team. Ski Team Registration will be closing soon.
Even though we will not be racing at Mountain Creek this season, racers still have the ability to purchase a discounted racer pass. This is totally optional and NOT required to race on the Sparta ski team. The link and code to purchase the pass is available in your racer portal under the essential tab. You will need to login to your account to view this page.
Health Forms: November 12th is the deadline to submit physicals and health history up-date forms to the school nurse. All physicals must be signed off by our school doctor prior to students participating in sports. Students who hand in physicals late run the risk of not being able to practice with the team until approved. All forms can be downloaded here: https://www.sparta.org/Page/1495

Pre-Season Conditioning: Racers, now is the time to start conditioning for dry-land practices. You should be working on cardio, strength and agility equally. Preseason conditioning plays an important role in preparing for the ski season. When you do your part, both you and your teammates benefit from your dedication. Be prepared to commence practice with a 1 mile warm up and cool down jog (4 laps around track = 1mi.), plus four rounds of mini Leg Blasters, consisting of 10x Air Squats; 5x In-Place Lunges (5x each leg, 10x total); 5x Jumping Lunges (5x each leg, 10x total); 5x Jump Squats with a 60 second break in between sets.
