Madison Campisi, Captain of the Sparta Ski Team, was honored as the Sparta High School Outstanding Senior Female Athlete of 2024 during the annual Monogram Dinner held at Perona Farms last night. This prestigious award acknowledges Madison's exceptional accomplishments with both the Sparta High School Alpine Racing Team and the Sparta High School Field Hockey Team.
Madison's journey as a ski racer has been nothing short of remarkable. From her impressive debut as Rookie of the Year in 2020 to consistently winning the Girls Most Valuable Player Award, Madison has proven herself to be an exceptional alpine racer and a true leader on the Sparta Ski Team. Throughout her four varsity seasons, she has showcased her skills and determination, earning numerous podium finishes and making invaluable contributions to our ski team. Madison's talent and dedication have earned her NJ All-League status all four years, and she finished the regular conference season ranked 2nd in the state. Ending the season ranked 10th in the State and securing a spot on the NJ State Ski Team for the 3rd consecutive year, Madison has solidified her position among the top 70 racers in the Eastern US. Her hard work, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude have made her a pleasure to coach.
As Madison prepares to embark on a new chapter at William Smith College in the fall, her commitment to excellence and passion for sports will undoubtedly continue to shine brightly.
